Sharon is creating an impression as a promising writer with works of fact, fiction and a journalistic blog under her belt. Her latest collection of short fiction, Dew on the Law and Other Strange Stories About a Scottish City, has been described as having a “distinctive style”, “clever”, and “readable”. Scot, Sharon is being identified as the next Muriel Spark.

As well as researching material for a book on Edinburgh, she is currently working on her first novel, a romantic satire.
